Shouldnt matter, the key actually just activates the account. example: if you need to reinstall the game for any reason, as long as your account was already activated then you can use any key (borrow your friends it doesnt matter) to install the game. Keys only matter when starting a new account.

The accounts are tied to the keys, but the game itself is not tied to any one computer. Once you've entered a key, so long as you have the client you can play it on any computer that can handle it.

so, now this causes confusion. I am selling my GWs prophecies and factions. I don't know which cd-key goes with what. I put the accounts with the games because I will not be using them anymore anyway.
So, my question then is if I sell both gws with an account, must I have that same access key with the same account? |

The reselling of any Guild Wars account is bannable, just a word of warning. The way Guild Wars works is a person created an account, which CD-keys are linked to, depending on what keys that account has, determines what the account can access. So if you wish to break to the rules and risk selling a Guild Wars account, which has CD-keys linked to it, all the need to do is change the e-mail address linked to that account once its sold, so the person you sell it to can access it after.
